Find your ride. Trust the data. Keep tracks alive.
I raced dirt bikes in high school in Minnesota. Then life happened — 20 years of it. When I came back to riding last year, it wasn't for me. It was to share it with my kids.
My 13-year-old is moving up to a 250F four-stroke. My 10-year-old is tearing around on a KLX110. Watching them discover what I loved at their age is the best thing I've done as a dad.
But here's what I didn't expect: finding a place to ride is harder than it should be.
I spent hours across Google, Facebook groups, word of mouth, and half a dozen apps trying to answer one question — where can we ride this weekend? Half the listings were outdated. Tracks had closed. Hours were wrong. Conditions were a mystery. And nobody could tell me when the information was last checked.
So I built the thing I wished existed.
TrackFinder USA is a free platform for dirt bike riders to find tracks, check conditions, and figure out where to ride — without digging through five different apps and three Facebook groups to get a straight answer.
Every track listing shows when it was last verified and by whom. If the data is stale, we say so. If a track closed, we don't hide it — we tell you before you load up the trailer and drive two hours. See how verification works →
The cost of getting into this sport is already brutal — bikes, gear, entry fees, gas. Finding where to ride should never be another line item. Search, conditions, reviews, events — all free, always.
We'd rather show you hundreds of tracks with verified information than 10,000 listings we can't vouch for. Every track has a verification badge that tells you exactly how fresh the data is and who confirmed it. No other platform does this.
Tracks are closing. Wards Creek MX shut down last year when the owner retired. Straddleline Park closed in 2023. Public OHV areas are losing access. Every track that closes is a place your kids can't ride. We built tools for track owners to manage their listings, promote events, and connect with riders — for free. Because if we don't support the people keeping gates open, there won't be anywhere left to ride. Do you feel like access is closing? Help us change it!
This sport has a high barrier to entry. If you're a parent who just bought your kid their first bike and you don't know anyone who rides — we want to be the place that helps you figure out where to go, what to expect, and who's riding nearby.
Money never touches search results or map rankings. Track owners can subscribe to Pro for visibility features, but the map shows you what's closest and best reviewed — not who paid the most. We publish a public policy on this. Hold us to it.
Right now we have hundreds of tracks across 25 states. We're a one-person operation — just me, building this between rides. The plan is to verify every track, build real-time condition reporting so riders can share what they find, and eventually bring this to mobile so you can check conditions from the parking lot.
If you're a rider, use TrackFinder. Submit a condition report. Leave a review. Tell us what's missing.
If you own a track, claim your listing. It's free. We want to help you reach more riders.
If you just want to talk dirt bikes, I'm not hard to find.
